From South London, British like her colleague Kate Moss, she is one of the Top Models of the 90s, although she complains that she didn't make as much money as her other supermodels friends, she still was one of them. She was discovered in Covent Garden by a scout, her career took off very fast, at the age of 16 she appeared on the cover of British Elle. By the late 80s she and her 2 partners Linda and Christy were called The Trinity: the three models were the most recognised and most demanded of their generation.
In 1988 she became the first black model to appear on a cover of the French Vogue. At the beginning of the 90s the Trinity was transformed by new partners to form the BIG SIX: Turlington, Evangelista, Naomi, Cindy, Claudia and Kate Moss. Nine years later, the supermodel era was finished, and Campbell was almost retired from the catwalk but she continued her career in print modelling, Charity, or films.
Her personal life is quite controversial, accused of several cases of violence against employees or associates,  or even policemen. In 1999 she entered rehab after adiction to cocaine. She has never married, she has been dating a Russian Businessman since 2008, before she dated Mike Thyson, Robert de Niro, the Spanish dancer Joaquín Cortés,  or the famous Flavio Briatore...

Inglesa como su compatriota Kate Moss, la descubrieron mientras paseaba por Covent Garden, a los 16 años fue portada del Elle Inglés, y muy pronto su carrera empezó a despegar, convirtiéndose en una de las top models de la época. A finales de los 80 junto a Christy Turlington y Linda Evangelista se las empezó a llamar La Trinidad, las modelos las más demandadas y las más reconocidas, hasta el punto que no desfilaban si no estaban las 3 juntas. En el 88 fue la primera modelo de color en aparecer en el Vogue Francés.
A principios de los 90 la llamada Trinidad se amplió por la llegada de nuevos miembros: Cindy, Claudia y Kate Moss, y el grupo se denominó "The Big Six", "las Gran 6". La época dorada terminó en el 99, aunque Naomi ya se había casi retirado por ese entonces de las pasarelas, aunque continuaba su covertura en los medios, en fotos, etcétera.
Su vida personal está llena de polémicas, no solamente por sus romances (Mike Tyson, Robert De Niro, o Flavio Briatore) también por varios acusaciones de violencia contra policía, o personal que trabajaba con ella.
Desde el 2008 sale con el empresario ruso Vladimir Doronin.

Born in 1970 in Rheinberg (Germany), when she was seventeen she was spotted in a nightclub by the boss of Metropolitan Models. When she completed her education, flew to Paris, she quickly adquired the fame of a supermodel, at the beginning due to her ressemblance of Brigitte Bardot, then Karl Lagerfeld selected her to be the face of CHANEL, their "union" has been a long one during even til nowadays.

In her private life, Claudia dated magician David Copperfield for about 5 years. But from 2002 she's been married to producer Matthew Vaughn and have 3 children. She lives in London.
In the Forbes list, she is rank 77 regarding money rank with her deals for instance, with the French house, L'Oréal.
